The Bay of Plenty is a water users paradise with many beaches, rivers and lakes to enjoy. Aquatic events are held year-round, and from time to time these may involve temporary closures of waterways and reserves.
Find out what water-based events are happening across the Bay. Use the calendar below to explore events in any, or all, of the following areas:

If you’re planning an aquatic event, operating a commercial vessel, or using a public area covered by the Bay of Plenty Navigation Safety Bylaw, you might need to apply for permission.
