Disestablished committees

The Regional Direction and Delivery Committee was set up to approve and review statutory and non statutory policy, plans and strategies.

Provides guidance on recommendations and changes in relation to the directions within the stage one Environment Court decision (released 9 August 2019).

The Regional Coastal Environment Plan Appeals Subcommittee holds meetings on an 'as required' basis.

On 25 March 2020 an Emergency Committee was established to allow swift decision making and delegated responsibility in response to extraordinary times.

The Plan Change 13 (Air Quality) Appeals Subcommittee was established by the Regional Direction and Delivery Committee on 25 June 2019 for the purpose of guiding the resolution of any Environment Court appeals on Proposed Plan Change 13 to the Regional Natural Resources Plan.

The subcommittee was established to guide the resolution of Environment Court appeals on the Region-wide Water Quantity - Proposed Plan Change 9.

This Committee was established by council to oversee the Bay of Plenty Regional Navigation Safety Bylaws Review.
